Q: What do you consider to be “contents”?
A: Contents can include furniture, bedding, clothes, electronic devices, jewelry, etc. Basically, contents generally refers to anything within the home or business that can be securely relocated to another part of the home or business … or moved to an offsite facility.
Q: Where will my content (items that were removed) be stored?
A: Your contents are stored locally in a climate controlled secure location with 24-hr security, surveillance cameras and motion detectors. Your contents will be digitally inventoried before being taken from your home or office and you will be given a copy of these records. All of your contents are kept in individual units separate from other customer’s items.
Q: In Coventry licensed, bonded and insured? If so, how much are you insured up to?
A: Coventry is licensed, bonded and insured. We are insured up to a million dollars in liability for damages. Upon request, we will be happy to provide documentation which shows our carrier and coverage information.
Q: What if any of my contents are damaged as a result of the disaster?
A) During the pack out, we will thoroughly inspect all of your items to determine whether there are items that are not salvageable. We will promptly inform you of our findings and contact your insurance provided and inform them of your situation and claim. We will always do our best to bring your contents back to their pre-disaster condition, however, there are cases where this is not possible.
Q: I have never been through any type of calamity and have never had to file an insurance claim for damages my home or business … Will you be able to help me/guide me through the process?
A: Definitely … this is one our primary goals! Even though we have to constantly deal with these situations, we fully understand that for our customers who are experiencing this type of disaster/loss it is a new and stressful experience.
